2) About the competitions
2.1) The competition is open to all those that live in the UK and are aged 18 years and over, except for Searigs UK Ltd employees, their family members or anyone that is connected with the running of the competition. You must also be located in the UK when you play to successfully complete your entry.
2.2) To enter the competition you will be asked to agree to these terms and conditions.
2.3) To start you will choose your desired product from the incredible selection on our website. When the competition closes, we will notify all entrants by your selected contact method and let you know when the draw will be held.
2.4) To enter you must answer a skill based question. You will then be allocated a ticket number/s . All purchases are final, Searigs Uk Ltd will issue no refunds under any circumstances.
2.5) If you win with your prior consent your name, location, images and video where applicable of you and your prize will be used by Searigs UK Ltd in marketing materials to promote the competition.
2.6) As soon as a competition is sold out and all tickets are gone we will arrange the live draw. All of our draws are totally random, picked using a tried and tested random number generator algorithm by google. All draws are guaranteed to be 100% random. Want to test it for yourself? 2.7) If a competition has not sold out and there are tickets remaining we may announce the draw date anyway!.
2.8) Some of our competitions have second and third place prizes. This will also be drawn live, in the same manner as the main prize. The second and third place draws will take place straight after the main draw.
2.9) We love to meet our players personally and hand deliver the prizes by hand. We must be able to deliver your prizes within 7 days from when we first contact you.
2.10) . Once we contact you to give you the good news that you have won, you have 24 hours to inform us should you wish to take the cash option. Cash alternatives pay out at 100% of the trade value of the advertised competition prize.
2.11) Now and again we might not be able to source the exact item that we advertised in the competition listing. It may be out of stock or supplies might be low. If this happens, we’ll contact you as soon as possible to discuss an alternative. This may be the same item in a different colour, a similar product or something completely different altogether for the same value. The choice is yours.
2.12) It’s a scary thought, but if you win and we can’t contact you within 28 days of the competition closing you will have lost your prize. Please make sure you answer our calls and emails to avoid this. We will always consider mitigating circumstances, but in the interests of fairness, we may choose to re draw the competition in order to find another winner. If you lose your prize, no alternatives or compensation will be provided. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN.
2.13) We hope we don’t ever have to, but we do reserve the right to withhold prizes if we believe there is good cause to do so. It’s really important that we protect our brand and the integrity of the competition for all our loyal players and followers.
2.14) Unfortunately, if you fail to make your entry in time, not submitted online or just incomplete, we cannot make allowances for this.
2.15) If you enter a competition your ticket(s) will only be valid for that one competition. They will not be valid for subsequent draws of the same product.
2.16) We limit the amount of tickets each user can purchase on a competition to allow more people to enter and to stop people buying a high percentage of the available tickets. Multiple tickets do increase your chances of winning a prize, please remember that the draws are 100% random and we have no idea of the outcome before the draw. We find out the winner at the same time as you.
2.17) We may change these terms and conditions if necessary to ensure Searigs Uk Ltd can continue in the spirit it is intended. We also reserve the right to cancel the competition if it is compromised in any way. If we cancel a competition for any reason ALL tickets will be refunded to the payment method used to purchase the tickets originally.
2.18) The decisions of SearigsUk Ltd regarding all competition matters, whether the main, second or third prize competition , is final and binding. SearigsUk Ltd will not enter into correspondence regarding these matters.
3) Payments and charges
3.1) The cost of playing is based on the number of tickets you buy.
3.2) Ticket prices are payable in UK pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT.
3.3) Payment is required for your tickets to be valid.
3.4) If you feel the need to question any payments made to Searigs Uk Ltd, we feel it’s only right to point out that refunds are only provided in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of Searigs Uk Ltd only, following a full review of your use of the website and the information you were presented with and provided as part of your entry.
3.5) For card payments, payment amounts are reserved until the transaction is completed, at which point the full payment is taken. If for any reason the transaction does not complete the funds will be released in approximately 3 – 5 days.
3.6) For Free Entries all the following criteria must be met. Please send us a undisclosed letter for the competition you would like to enter, The answer to the question specific to the particular competition also you must send us your personal details as follows:
Full Name, Date of birth, Home address, Email address, Contact numberSearigsUk Ltd will not be held accountable for any loss suffered by the entrant as a result of a incomplete entry or for any loss as the result of the use on the website. If it comes to our attention that the entrant has entered using multiple names the entries will all be void this applies to all entries.
4) Marketing messages
4.1) If you opt in to receive marketing, or join the SearigsUK Ltd social competition Community, we may send you marketing messages based on your communication preferences.
4.2) If you don’t want to receive marketing messages marketing emails you can send an email with a subject of ‘opt out of marketing’ to sales@searigs.co.uk. More information on how your personal information is used by SearigsUk Ltd can be found in our privacy policy.
5) Important information
5.1) If you win, we will ask you for a suitable location to personally deliver your prize. This could be a local hotel, restaurant or public place. It doesn’t have to be your home address.
5.1.1) All of our competitions have a free entry method in accordance with regulation. In order to enter a competition for free please send a postcard to our registered address, with your Name, Date of birth, full address, email address, chosen competition and your first choice of ticket number. If by the time we receive your entry the chosen ticket number has gone SearigsUK LTD will choose one on your behalf. Please note postal entries are processed every Monday. Free Entrants are limited to one per name and address.
5.2) If you win, and you decide to engage your local press, or other media, to celebrate your good fortune, we ask that all materials are pre-approved by SearigsUk Ltd. Please send these requests through to sales@searigs.co.uk
